About Andreas Wiebe

Currently the Product Manager for the Portals group at Vantage Media, I help drive portal strategy, development and optimization of existing and new portals. Working directly with partners I assist in developing the overall strategy and make this strategy a reality with the implementation, engineering, user experience, and client support groups.

Before my role as a Product Manager, I applied my technical knowledge, business acumen and love for data analysis to business operations. For several years I managed a revenue stream for Vantage Media, driving profit and margin through the use of partner relationships, technology improvements and training for a staff of thirty people in the Direct Connect channel. My responsibilities include driving revenue, financial forecasting, business and software projects, advertising and media, communication, and maintaining the relationship between the contact center, its agents, and Vantage Media.

I have worked at Microsoft Exchange Hosted Services (EHS) in the anti-spam department as a spam-analyst, project lead and later as a program manager for anti-spam tools development. During this time I was responsible for managing several development projects, using my skills and education to create technical specifications, project schedules, development roadmaps, and communicate these with my team and the larger organization.

These experiences give me an in-depth understanding of business, software development, project management, and the importance of strong teamwork in driving and meeting deadlines.
